- Health and Safety Audits
Ecohealth Co. Ltd through her competent and experienced employee and subcontractors conducts Health and Safety Audits Pursuant to section 11 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 2007 and Section 13(1) of “The factories and other places of Work (safety and Health Committee) Rules of 2004”. The audit was carried out through physical survey, examination and interview of staff and review of relevant literature. The main objective of the audit is to ensure a safe and healthy workplace of the employees through mitigating unsafe conditions and unsafe acts that may result to accidents or cases of ill health.
- Health and Safety Committee training
According to OSHA 2007, Safety and Health Committee Rules 2004, Legal Notice 31, factories and other workplaces, which regularly employ twenty or more employees should constitute a safety and health committee and have it trained by Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services (DOSHS) approved trainers. Ecohealth Company Ltd. is registered with the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services (DOSHS) as Trainers in Occupational Safety and Health; Registration No. OSH/BT 065, and is also registered as a training provider with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Reg. No. NITA/TRN/1108.
